Northbound Interstate 215 to be closed at night, July 19, 20
The Interstate 215 widening project in San Bernardino will require the full closure of northbound freeway lanes between 2nd Street and 10th Street on July 19 and 20, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. both nights. Crews will be placing falsework for construction of the new bridge at 5th Street.
As a detour, motorists can exit the freeway at 2nd Street and reenter the freeway at 10th Street using H Street as the north-south route parallel to the freeway. Most of the cross-streets connecting to H Street between 2nd Street and 10th Street will be closed to motorists. For access to 3rd, 4th, Kingman, 5th, Spruce, 6th, Victoria, 7th, 8th, 9th, and Temple Streets, motorists will need to travel south on E Street, west on 4th Street, and north on H Street. E Street should be used as an alternate route.
