CHIEF OF PLANNING
Salary $ 91,786 to $ 137,680 year plus benefits
Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience Guidelines
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, or a related field AND eight years of experience in transportation planning, OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.  Master’s Degree is preferred.

CHIEF OF FUND ADMINISTRATION AND PROGRAMMING
Salary $ 91,786 to $ 137,680 year plus benefits

  • You can either enter information directly into the form through your web browser then print it, or print out the form and fill it in.
     
    To enter information directly into the form:

    1. Move the cursor to an information area in the form. The cursor changes from a hand to an I-bar.

    2. Click once to see a normal cursor in the information area.

    3. Type information into the form. Use the Tab key to move from area to area on the form.

Completing the Application Form

Enter all of the requested information in the employment application form, sign it, and then submit it to SANBAG.

Although a résumé may be attached to the form, applicants must fill in all of the education, experience, and background on the employment application rather than simply stating, "see attached resume."

What to Expect

SANBAG analyzes the education, experience, and related background on all applications received by the closing date. This generally takes three to six weeks from the recruitment closing date.

SANBAG reserves the right to rate applicants based on a review of the application materials and to invite only the most qualified applicants to participate in successive parts of the selection process.

SANBAG conducts independent interviews with the finalists, and the applicable department makes the final selection. All applicants are notified as to the status of the recruitment once a selection has been made.

When eligibility lists are established, they are only for those who are invited to and pass an interview.
